M6 and JEM [message #90654] Thu, 07 April 2005 16:31 Go to next message

Hello,

I'm working to compile the WST Common Navigator out of the CVS head on
Eclipse 3.1M6. I'm noticing that the JEM package released with WTP 1.0M3
isn't compatible with the HEAD anymore (understandable and acceptable).
I'm getting compilation errors, I've been pulling JEM plugins from the
CVS to resolve this. But its difficult to get the full set of
dependencies met. Are there any developers out there who have a list of
the JEM dependencies for the current head?

thanks,
Mark Diggory

To get the compatible prerequite packages (like, emf, gef, jem) for
getting the WTP code compile, check out the requirements section on any
WTP IBuild you are interested in. It always tells you the right version
of the packages to get. This will help in avoiding to load these
prerequisites from cvs. If you want to find out the actual dependencies
you can look at the plugin dependencies and follow the path until you
get then all.

If you're like me and you insist on building from HEAD anyway, the
attached Team Project Set should do the trick...for now.
