Needing some assistance w/plugin on Linux [message #89602] Mon, 15 December 2003 18:19

Hi - I'm having some problems here... Was running Eclipse with Java just
fine on my Linux (motif) box. Download the CDT plugin and things just
don't run now. I was running the 2.1.1 SDK, and downloaded the
cdt-full-1.2-linux-motif.zip.

now, when I try to start Eclipse, I get exceptions and then it just hangs.
The first exception is:

org.eclipse.core.dependencies.IDependencySystem$CyclicSystem Exception:
{org.eclipse.ui.views, org.eclipse.ui, org.eclipse.ui.editors,
org.eclipse.core.runtime}
at
org.eclipse.core.internal.dependencies.DependencySystem.visi t(DependencySystem.java:147)

and then so on.

I'll admit to having absolutely no clue as to what's going on here. Can
anyone shed some light?

Thanks in advance.
