Hi,
I am suffering form the setup and build of the eclipse TCF project.
http://wiki.eclipse.org/DSDP/TM/TCF_FAQ
It has about 50 .c and 50 .h files and it is
supposed to be configurable. There is a config.h
file, that can be tweaked by hand, but that is
a bit complicated. It has os dependencies
and it has a set of services that may or may
not require other services. A service it typically
one or a few .c files.
The makefile currently builds everything and creates
a library. The symbols referred in the config.h file
are then defining what gets linked to an executable.
The source can be found here:
http://dev.eclipse.org/svnroot/dsdp/org.eclipse.tm.tcf/trunk
A bug that descries some problems with the current structure:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=225082
I think TCF would make a great RTSC example, especially
because there are not too many c projects hosted at
eclipse.org. It is a new project and there has not been
spend much effort on how to split it into components
and how build it..
