Real Time Parser not working [message #85207]

Well, the title says it all... I have a M2 installation v20081126 and the
Real Time Error Detection simply does not work. No output no nothing. A
friend of mine have the all-in-one install (can't remember which, but is a
2.0.0) and it works there. Can it be a compatibility issue with the other
installed plugins?
