ARC has a key in-house EDA tool, ARChitect. This performs all
configuration and extension of ARCs Intellectual Property, both hardware
and software.
The tool is written in Java, currently outside of Eclipse. ARC's software
tools are inside Eclipse, and hence developing an Eclipse plug in for
ARChitect will ease the HW/SW split.
The role is to help develop and extend ARChitect to cover more complex IP,
to interface it to the new SPIRIT standard for IP packaging and to
integrate it with Eclipse.
Skills needed:
· 1st class or 2:1 BSc from a good university.
· 5 years+ experience of software application development within an
engineering environment.
· Fluency in Java and experience in the development of Eclipse plugins
essential.
· Experience of tcl, awk and hardware RTL experience useful.
