I have a Java file in a project, and I want to diff it against a different
version of the file somewhere on my filesystem (not in CVS, not in my
workspace).
Is there some way in Eclipse to do this? It seems like an obvious thing,
but I can't seem to find it in help, through Google, or by trying everything
I can think of with menus and views and right-clicks.
Thanks!

Import it somewhere in your workspace, select both files, right-click
and choose Compare with each other.
