Hi,

I wonder how to re-order the items in a list compartment using drag and
drop. Can you give me some hints?

Thank you very much,
Jinchao

Have you searched the newsgroup and archive pages? Perhaps this one will
help?

Hi Rich,

I did check that message. The suggestions there is to install a
XYLayoutEditPolicy, but the list compartment is a ListCompartmentEditPart
and uses ContraintedToolbarLayout. It causes ClassCastException at some
point as the layout policy is expecting a XYLayout. I may have missed
something?

Ok. I created a 'hybrid' edit policy and it works.

Thanks,
Jinchao
