Hello,
=20
I'm just getting started with Buckminster and trying to work through the
Building an Update Site example at
http://wiki.eclipse.org/Buckminster/Examples/Building_an_Upd ate_Site .
=20
I have the latest Buckminster installed into 3.3.2 with subversive. In
the instructions for building a CSPEC for the update site, the section
on Dependencies (item 2.4) indicates that I should set the Component
Type to "eclipse.feature". However, "eclipse.feature" is not an option
in the selection list. The only options that I see are:
=20
""
bom
buckminster
jar
site.feature
unknown
=20
Should I be using "site.feature", or is something missing in my install?
=20
Thanks for your help
Rich Scott

Hi Scott,
Given the list of component types that you see, I don't think you have the Buckminster PDE support
installed. Either that, or it's not enabled for some reason.
The PDE support is required when working with plug-ins, features, and update sites.
Kind Regards,
Thomas Hallgren

Thomas,
You are right. I missed that on the update site. That took care of the
problem.
Thanks for your help.
