Hi,

What is the most effective way of updating a bundle and having the
Equinox environment pickup those changes *if the bundle's component
descriptions have changed*? I would like to use a technique that works
from within the Eclipse IDE.

My problem is that often after I update a component description and
restart/update the bundle that contains an updated component
description, the bundle is activated without all the changes. This is
specifically observed when I add a new service reference, and the
activation sequence simply never sets the newly referenced service
object on the component.

I have tried and succeeded in getting the runtime to pick up the new
reference after spending a couple of hours on this issue, but I am not
sure I can repeat the process.

Is there a step I am missing or am I observing buggy behavior?

Thanks for your help,
Nikunj
