Starbridge Systems interested in DSDP [message #6241] Tue, 27 September 2005 17:05 Go to next message

Hi,

We (Starbridge) are building FPGA design tools for high-performance
computing. We're creating our architecture with Eclipse, using the CDT
and the Graphical Editor Framework. We're also working with JTAG and the
IEEE-1532 standard, so we're very interested in DSDP.

If it isn't too late, we'd like to join the DSDP effort and attend the
upcoming conference in Chicago. I understand that DD is meeting 12/13 and
TM is meeting 13/14, but do you have a more descriptive agenda?

Would it be possible to get on the developer list?

Many thanks!

Hello Matt,

thanks for your interest.

We are currently working on an agenda. You are also welcome to submit
ideas of what you would like to discuss.

Please join the developer mailing lists on http://www.eclipse.org/dsdp
and post your proposals there.

It should also help to have a look at the meeting notes. They are
available from the Website. Especially for Device Debugging, the notes
from the first Chicago meeting and the Toronto meeting have almost
everything that was discussed so far.

Also, Darin Wright has submitted what he wants to present at this
Chicago meeting to the mailing list - he plans to present proposed
solutions/progress in the Debug Platform on the following features:

* flexible hierarchy in all debug views
* asynchronous APIs
* pluggable update policies
* flexible view wiring

Hope this helps for now - be prepared for more info the next days.

Thanks
