Is there any way to prevent Eclipse from inspecting particular files and
folders during its validation process? I have several folders which
contains tens of thousands of htm and xml derived files that Eclipse wants
to validate, which is of course incredibly time consuming, unnecessary,
and results in validation errors that I don't need. I've been looking for
a solution for this for months, and recently have searched exhaustively,
to no avail. I've tried:
-Making the desired files/folders hidden (bad solution to begin with, and
also doesn't work)
-Looking through all of the options in Windows->Preferences
-Reading through the Eclipse help files
-Searching through newsgroups and Google: all of the solutions I find
didn't work (as mentioned by the posters themselves), or only applied to
other Eclipse plugins
Does anyone know how to do this, or can anyone at least tell me
definitively that there's no way to do it?
