printing images [message #66714] Thu, 27 February 2003 11:13 Go to next message

As a few others have noted, the draw2d print support prints images as black
boxes. Is there a way to fix this other than to not use images? I've got
figures that have within them icons placed in Labels and it really isn't
possible to hand paint these icons by hand via paintFigure...

Thanks,

- Jason

The entire image is a black box, or only the transparent portion appear
black?

The only foreground color in the image(s) is black. So it prints as a
single black rectangle. I've attached a sample image.

Thanks,

My mistake - the image has black and white in the foreground (with a
transparent background) - but it still prints out as all black.

Please open a bug containing the Image and some simple draw2d code to
reproduce the print problem. I am guessing this is an SWT limitation, but
open the bug against GEF first.
