I got a problem in using eclipse and the VE ant WTP tool in editing jsp
source code. NO matter what code i type when i save it shows "An Internal
Error occur when Updating JSP Index" java.lang.NoSuchFieldError:
indexLocations

An internal error occurred during: "Updating JSP Index".
java.lang.NoSuchFieldError: indexLocations
org.eclipse.jst.jsp.core.internal.java.search.JSPSearchSuppo rt.computeIndexLocation(JSPSearchSupport.java:453)
org.eclipse.jst.jsp.core.internal.java.search.JSPSearchSuppo rt.addJspFile(JSPSearchSupport.java:302)
org.eclipse.jst.jsp.core.internal.java.search.JSPIndexManage r$ProcessFilesJob.run(JSPIndexManager.java:212)
org.eclipse.core.internal.jobs.Worker.run(Worker.java:66)

Do any one kindly let me know? and help me thanks

As was mentioned in the earlier "Updating JSP Index error" thread,
the latest milestone of WTP, 1.0M2, is meant for use with the
Eclipse 3.1M4 milestone build. Some of the JSP functionality makes
use of APIs that are new to the Eclipse 3.1 milestones. In general,
WTP milestones will be tightly coupled to specific Eclipse
milestones and you'll need to make sure you're running the correct
Eclipse milestone for the WTP milestone you're using.

Hi Sherin,

M2 for the JSP Editor in WTP depends on specific Eclipse 3.1M4 function
from JDT. I think others have run into this same problem.
