When creating a run configuration, are there restrictions on what you
can set as the C/C++ Application? My project is a shared library that
gets loaded by an executable that I don't own. I need to specify the
executable that is off in a shared directory as the application, but
can't seem to get it to work. Any help would be appreciated.

I figured it out. If you make a link to the executable to your project
directory, you can then access it in the run configuration.
