This is the message at http://eclipse.org/downloads/index.php The Eclipse
download page for QNX.

1) Download the IBM J9 VM for QNX. There is a link for this on the Java
Runtime page linked from the drop index page. (Currently the standard
Photon VMs do not support Eclipse).

I do not understand what this instruction is referring to. Could someone
please give me the url of the site where I can get IBM J9 VM for QNX?

Thank you.

You can use the built in update faeture of
IBMs WebSphere Studio Device Developer 5.0 if you have it installed.
If not, go to http://www.ibm.com/software/pervasive/products/wsdd/ ,
scroll down to "Platforms and operating systems"
and click on the link labeled "Platforms Supported".
On that page you get an overview of supported OS/CPU combinations.
There are currently 4 combinations with QNX:
QNX/SH4, QNX/PowerPC, QNX/MIPS and QNX/x86
Click on the "available" link right to the combination you like.
On that page click on the link below "installation instructions"
On that page in the "Note:" section in the last paragraph is a link labeled
"Device Developer Software Updates" referring to http://www-
3.ibm.com/software/pervasive/products/wsdd/download/wsdd_su. shtml
There you should download the
'Device Developer "Runtimes" software updates' package.

Somewhere on that way you have to register for downloading.

Difficult, isn't it?

Please note that the downloaded software has an evaluation-style license
and
for a commercial license you have to contact a reseller.

Best regards
Stefan
