Ve gone after installing SDK Samples [message #63420] Thu, 30 September 2004 09:19 Go to next message

Hi,
i have a clean install with the latest (really!!) version of everything
on linux gtk.
Ther are no problems with VE untill I install the SDK 3.0 samples from the
workbench. After that and a restart - VE is gone.
No sign of life anywhere in the workbench.
Reinstalling the plugin does not help, eclipse -clean doesnt help either.
Ve does not show up in the feature details nor in the plugin details.
Somehow the samples corrupt my settings.
The only fix i found was to make clean reinstall of eclipse.
Any other idea?

Could please attach the .log file? There may be something in there that
indicates why. Especially the first one because they usually only print
configuration errors only once.

I'm stumped, please open a bugzilla against VE so that we track this
down. Attach all of the notes from this thread so we have the info.
