Debug Menu Was Disabled - Now It's Not! [message #63294] Fri, 20 June 2003 17:10

This is a follow up to a few recent posts regarding a problem where the
debug menu items aren't enabled when a breakpoint hits (Windows 2000). I
had this problem, as did a few others. Here's what I did, which apparently
caused the problem to go away:

1) uninstalled the UML plug in (unrelated, but I was getting ready to try to
reinstall Eclipse).
2) created a directory called C:\myworkspace (was going to move my projects,
which were in C:\eclipse\workspace)
3) restarted eclipse, but now using the -data C:\myworkspace option
4) import a project from C:\eclipse\workspace
5) run the debugger

Now everything works great. So, I'm happy, but clearly there is some sort
of problem with Eclipse in this regard.

Best, Mike
