Unable to create part: file.cpp [message #63225] Wed, 26 February 2003 16:54 Go to next message

Hi

I have just installed the CDT plugin for Eclipse and I think it is
installed correctly (I downloaded the zip-file and unziped it in the
installation directory).

I am able to create a C++ project, but when i want to create a file with
the extension .C/.c/.cpp/.h Eclipse will not open it, and gives me the
error message "Unable to create part: file.cpp". In the view, where the
file should have been displayed, there is a red text saying "An error has
occurred when creating this editor".

There is no problem when I create files with other extensions (for
instance "Makefile").

I am using eclipse-R2.1M5 and the latest release of the CDT plugin for
linux with gtk.

Any suggestions?

/Jørgen

Sorry, I didn\'t see that this question had already been answered in
another thread.
