I wanted to clarify if it's possible to set the workspace compiler
compliance level to 1.5 in version 3.0.2 of the platform. I had recently
downloaded the new version (I do not remember what version I had before),
but noticed I could not use 1.5, even though I have set jdk1.5.0_03 as my
installed JRE. I am using this in Windows XP Home Edition on a Toshiba
Satellite laptop. Searching the threads here revealed some snippets that
confirmed my suspicions.

For now I'm going to try 3.0.1 to see if Java 1.5 works with that.

Thank you,

Aaron J. M.

No.

You need the Eclipse 3.1 stream for compilation against 1.5.
Try 3.1 M6
