Using a Ganymede install, pointing to the "Mylyn Extras" update site [1]
and trying to install "Mylyn Connector: JIRA", I get the following errors.
Is the update site down?
An error occurred while collecting items to be installed
No repository found containing:
org.eclipse.mylyn.jira_feature/org.eclipse.update.feature/3. 0.1.v20080721-2100-e3x
No repository found containing:
org.eclipse.mylyn.jira.ui/osgi.bundle/3.0.1.v20080721-2100-e 3x

org.eclipse.mylyn.jira.core/osgi.bundle/3.0.1.v20080721-2100 -e3x

Ah, you hit the nail on the head. I had tried refreshing but was getting
3.0.1 again - it must have been a duff proxy stuck in the past even though
my browser showed 3.2 if pointed to the update site. Fiddling with the
proxy settings to pick another one of our (load-balanced) proxies and
refreshing got me the right version.

Note that the errors mention 3.0.1 but 3.0.2 is the current
version. You probably have some stale information somewhere. Are you
trying to update from behind a web proxy with a cache? That has caused
me a lot of trouble but my experience suggests that there may be
several places where caches are holding stale information.
It is probably worth going to the "Available Software" tab of update
and doing a "Refresh" then see what version is listed under Mylyn
Extras.
