This is not quite true. Both Lomboz and BEJY provide code completion,
etc. I have never been able to get Lomboz working consistantly (I think
it requires Tomcat or some other server installed for completion to work).
Code completion does work in BEJY, you just have to configure the project
and plugin correctly, then enable the BEJY server see the home page for
instructions:

this is what \'s the problem. i have to configure MY project according to
structure of a plugin to be able to have simple help (like JSP code compl.)
which is provided by all the other IDE\'s, like IDEA !!! or netbeans.
thats why we throw eclipse away after trying to swith to that ide.
or EJB support,....
the plugin framework is a great idea, and i would like to get a plugin
with that i can do that development and that devel..... but what i dont
want to do, is to modify my project(s) structure just for e.g. jsp
suppport.... ;(
do you see any upcoming improvments for that issue ?

You could take a look at WebSphere Studio Site Developer.

Hi Hama,
I totally understand your frustration with trying to develope JSP with
Eclipse, I feel the same way. We should not have to change a project
sturcture just to make an editor work. The lack of a good, complete, JSP
editor is one of the biggest weaknesses of Eclipse.
Short of buying from IBM, I don't see any near term solution. Sad when
you consider the amount of JSP development going on. Perhaps someone will
(or is?) addressing the problem.
Sam.

Your suggestion to buy IBM does not eliminate potential project
restructuring requirements to work with WSAD. I have worked on a number of
projects where Eclipse and/or WSAD is used and am interested in learning
more about what type of project structures you employ that can not be mapped
onto an Eclipse 2.1 project model. For discussion purposes can you provide
an example or two?
Just curious.

Hi Wayne,
on all the projects with eclipse , have you developed with JSP's ? if yes,
how you set up the development of this kind of files ?
text editor based ?
every good IDE (Intellij or NETBEANS)has JSP support and are in some cases
also for free.
sad about that missing aspect , i go back to intellij,
