Hi folks,
The refactoring of the CDT builds is almost complete.
The new nightly builds are another step towards using the Eclipse features
correctly and allowing our builds to be recognized on an update site (in the
future).
I would appreciate any and all help testing the new builds on all platforms.
As usual they can be found at

www.eclipse.org/cdt

and follow the CDT downloads link.

You will notice that platform specific source builds are also available.
These are a work in progress and not all plugins add everything they should
to the source build.

Thanks in advance and have a great weekend everyone.

P.S.
If you want to use the build scripts to build the CDT outside of Eclipse ...
Please note,
Currently there is a CVS *issue* with the org.eclipse.cdt.win32 directory.

It cannot be accessed using anonymous and pserver.

If you use extssh to connect to CVS you can access this directory.
Eclipse folks have been notified, but I do not expect a resolution until
Monday at the earliest.

Cheers
-Judy

I have not been able to get any of the 1.0.1 builds to install under windows
on my home computer. I do have the 12/30 1.0.1 installed on my work computer
with Eclipse 2.0.1. At home I ending up reinstalling Eclipse 2.0.2 from
scratch then installing the 01/03 CDT 1.0.1 driver but it fails. When I go
to the update manager it says there is an error. The details show something
like "cdt.win_32.1.0.1 requires cdt.1.0.1" or something like that.

I used to have 1.0.0 running fine but discovered an error in the CDT outline
window and was hoping it might be fixed in the 1.0.1 driver but I haven't
been able to get it working to test it.

One question. The info on the driver page says you have to remove the
previous CDT before installing the latest 1.0.1 driver. I have done this by
going into the update manager and Disabling CDT then removing the CDT stuff
in the features and plugins directory. Is this the correct way?
