I like the new design. Hm After having had some trouble getting my old
preferences to work (I think the missing passwords were a problem), I
got it to work. But now I can't find the command history anymore, is it
gone or is it hidden somewhere?
Thanks,
Jörg.

At the moment the command history is gone, but I'd like to re-introduce
it. The problem is that I've not yet found a nice way to show it. It
depends also on users requests

Hello Andrea,
it would be nice if the history would be accessible in two ways:
1. from the editor window, i.e. if all commands issued from a window
could be recalled from within that window, e.g. by pressing a
button that opens a list of issued commands
2. from the session view, showing all commands issued in that
session. As the session view does not show much information yet,
how about a vertical split bar in the view, with the right hand
side showing the commands issued in the selected session?
Right-clicking the command could then offer "Open in originating
editor" and "Open in new editor".
Another wish I'd have is that the SQL results view be linked with the
editor window containing the command that the results stem from, i.e.
switching the editor window would change the result view.
There also seems to be a bug where issuing a command does not affect the
result view at all. This happens after a while of using JFaceDbc, and
changing the session in the editor window does seem to make it more
likely to happen.
So much for my wishes today ;-)
Thanks for JFaceDb!
J
