Attaching source to swt.jar inside the SWT Container [message #55906] Fri, 13 August 2004 07:25 Go to next message

Hello,

It seems that I am unable to find a way to attach source to swt.jar when
it is inside the SWT Container.

The obvious way of opening project properties -> Java build path ->
Libraries -> SWT Container -> swt.jar -> Source Attachment does not work
for me (the source attachment always disappears after pressing OK).
Editing the properties of swt.jar on the package explorer -view suggests
that I cannot attach the source directly, instead I should "go directly
to the corresponding configuration page", which I cannot find.

The bug report https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=60614
suggests that there is no obvious way of doing this. Is there a
non-obvious way?

Hi Harry,

The automatic attachment of source to the SWT/JFace libraries feature
has been added in recent builds of the VE, post M2. If you try out the
VE build I20040811 it should be in there. The bug you quoted should be
updated to say this feature has been added.

Actually it was fixed in M2. :-) It was

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=70782.
