Using own starting point [message #55861] Wed, 01 March 2006 10:28 Go to next message

Hello everybody,

at first I've to say that I'm really new to automatic GUI-tests with TPTP
and its Automated GUI Recorder. So I've got trouble with the GUI Recorder
at a very early point of use.

I specified an own context for my testsuite by entering the path to our
projects startup.jar-file. I expected that I could now choose our own
perspective as a starting point for my testcases. But our perspective
isn't listed in the combobox with all starting points for the current
testcase.

I tried to solve this by reading the "Introduction to Using TPTP's
Automated GUI Recorder", but I still have no idea.

Thanks for help and your time

Jan Christian

The starting points are the list of perspectives registered in the workbench
in which the test case is created. You should use the workbench that
contains your perspective to record your test case.
