Hallo,

I checked the newsgroup for this subject:

Is it possible to have a written class eg. a class inherited from JFrame
handled as a Visual Class designed by the VE?
I imported the file but could not edit the preferences and nor can I see
the class in the upper field.

Could anyone help me?

regards

HaJo

Just open it using Open With->Visual Editor. As long as the class
follows some typical conventions it should work fine. If it didn't
follow normal conventions, then it may not show anything.

HaJo,

Please see this article for an overview of the source patterns
recognized by the VE:
http://www-106.ibm.com/developerworks/websphere/library/tech articles/0303_winchester/winchester.html

It's a bit outdated though, since we've added more cabability in the
v1.0 milestones.
