Debugger hangs in "Finding free socket" [message #54591]

Hallo!

The result is: Could not find a free socket for the debugger.
This comes very fast without a lan cable connected and needs some time with
connected cable.
Eclipse 2.1
WinXP
jdk140_01

Any idea?

I would log a bug report against JDT debug.
Include all details.
