Your recommendation sounds great.
Updated manual plug-ins have been posted under this bug on bugzilla for
Make, GCC, Binary Utilities, and GDB.

that it will be very helpful to users who are using GNU Make.
We are discussing creating an Eclipse CDT Community section on the CDT
portion
of the Eclipse website. Your submission is a prime candidate for inclusion
in
that section.
Just for clarification ...
The CDT itself does not use nor distribute Make nor GNU Make. The reference
implementation that ships with the CDT invokes an external builder. Our
examples use Make as the external builder due to our mandate to use other
Open
Source projects.
It is a subtle distinction. Therefore I would suggest that this submission
be
the first to our CDT Community site. I would suggest that it be packaged as
a
feature
Let me know if this is acceptible.

Thanks Jonathan, sorry about the spam problem ... I guess when there is a
critical mass of spammers from a certain server they just everyone.
I'll be working on getting this new section up on the website over the next
couple of weeks. Thanks again for your contribution.
