We don't have a step-by-step tutorial yet. But a good place to start is
the integrated help. When you download GEF, you'll get 2 *.doc.isv
plugins. Unzip these into your development workbench, run Eclipse and
open the help contents. There will be a GEF Developer Guide and a
Draw2d Developer Guide. It's mostly javadoc, but there are a few pages
giving an overview of GEF and Draw2d. Another place to look is
http://eclipsewiki.swiki.net/50. This has several samples for you to
look at. Check out the HelloGEF samples. They are a good way to see
the function added bit by bit.
