Problem with setting multiple reference in properties view [message #53672] Fri, 22 September 2006 07:57 Go to next message

Hello,

this might sound like an EMF problem instead of a GMF one, but when I tried
the same in the generated EMF editor everything worked fine.

Here's the scenario:
I have an elment that refers another element with 0-* multiplicity. When
there are no elements of the referenced type in the model then there is a
(...)-button in the propertie-field, opening a dialog where I could select
the elements I want, if there were any.

But as soon as I add some instances of the referenced type to the diagram
there is a dropdown menu instead, and if I select an element from this list
there is an exception and the selection is discarded.

It doesn't matter if the reference is normal, containment or container or if
it has an opposite or if the element has a graphical representation.

Doing the same in the generated EMF editor works fine, so I guess my model
and edit code are ok and it's something about the new properties view of
the GMF editor.

Could anyone help me with this?

Tobias

Ok, found the bug report.

Fixed in 1.0.1; until then use Stream Stable Build, right?
