Saving/filtering breakpoints with task's context [message #52100] Thu, 03 July 2008 20:07
Eclipse UserFriend
I've been hapilly (and heavily) using Mylyn for at least half a year now
and was awaiting the 3rd release with anticipation to see the
functionality to add task-relevant breakpoints to the saved context.
Unfortunately after recent update to Eclipse Ganymede with Mylyn 3.0, I
can't seem to make this feature work. There's not much explanation on its
usage apart from what I could grasp from the release notes, but according
to the below tickets it should be working:

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=132092
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=123699
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=123699

My experiense is such that I'm unable to neither filter nor save the
breakpoints with a task's context: clicking the 'Filter' icon clears out
the whole 'Breakpoint' view (although it does seem to filter on the
'Debug' view, not sure if it includes all relevant breakpoints or not).
As for splitting the breakpoints view based on a task and saving it with
the context - it doesn't work for me unless I'm doing something wrong.

Would greatly appreciate some pointers.
TIA,
Simeon
