Where is the info about Projects stored?
When I start up Eclipse it opens with the last project. In experimenting I
created a few test projects, which I messed up. Then I could not get rid
of them. I deleted the folders and started getting all sorts of error
messages.

if you only want to delete you test project,it does not need to location
where the project really sorted.
In eclipse Package Exploer tab panel selected the project that you want to
deleted then press "Delete" key.
A dialog will show to ask you if you want to only delete the project in
eclipse or delete all the resource on you
disk!Fellow this way, you can deleted all the test project you want! But if
you really want to location where the
project really location, you can fined that when you first lunch eclipse you
will be asked to select a workspace.
All the projcet created in eclipse will sort in single folder name as it's
project name.
HOPE THIS HELP YOU!

Alex,
If you can't remember the location of your workspace, there are two ways
of getting there:
(1) In the eclipse preferences, turn on the flag, that determins, if
eclipse should prompt you for the workspace. The dialog will default to
the last workspace used (Window | Preferences; in the tree go to
"General" | "Startup and Shutdown"; tick the "Prompt for workspace on
startup" option.)
(2) Seach for a file called "org.eclipse.ui.prefs" on your computer. It
depends on the version and OS where it is stored.
Hope this helps,
Kai
