I hesitate to put this in bugzilla against CDT since it affects other
plugins. But I'd like to be able to set the 'build on save' (perform build
automatically on resource modification) option on a per-project or maybe a
per-plugin basis. That's because I *do* want my Java projects to build on
save, but I *don't* want my C projects to build on save (mainly because it
doesn't work for my C projects because of the build command inflexibility
but even if that were fixed, it wouldn't be nearly as fast as the Java
builds).

Hi Ed,

This sounds like a perfectly reasonable and good idea.

I would search the Eclipse bugbase just to be sure a PR on this issue does
not already exist and then (if it doean't) add a bug to bugzilla. Let us
know what the PR # is so that we can track it.

Great idea? This might solve some of the frustration that people are
encountering.

This bug is very old. I think the priority should be higher to have this
fixed in 2.1!
