Browser not opening [message #47809] |

I am working on the Java SE Tutorial from within Eclipse. I imported all
the files which includes source examples and html content containing the
tutorial itself. I have a Mylyn task setup for working on the tutorial
which allows me to reopen my notes (an XML file), the java source files,
and a text data file. I also opened with a Web Browser, the html file
itself.
The problem occurs that when I restart Eclipse, it reopens the XML file,
the Task, the java source file, and the text data file, but does not
reopen the Web Browser window with the last html page being viewed.
How is the best way to handle this?

This is a limitation with the embedded browser in Eclipse that we don't
currently have a way of working around. I don't think that we have a
bug for this, so it would be great if you could file one.
In the meantime, you could use the Tasktop extension to Mylyn, which
replaces Platform's embedded browser with a full-featured browser that
supports lazy restore of tabs:
