The mind mapping tutorial and GMF are great. I can not believe how fast
I was able to get such a complex modeling application built. I suspect
this will change the way many applications are written.

After completing the first tutorial, there is a TopicSubtopics in my
Palette, when I click on it it depresses but it does not seem to do
anything. I can not draw connections with it like I expected. I can use
the arrows that appear when you hover over a Topic to connect topics as
subtopics. In addition when I double click on the hover errors, I get a
"Show Related null Relationships". Should null be replaced with
something else?

Hi,

Please check the properties of the link in the mindmap.gmfmap model, as it
may not be set to the creation tool for the subtopic link.

Best,
Rich

Hi I have a similar problem and have run the tutorial at least ten times
now with same result. (I'm running eclipse 3.2.2)

Everything works great except that at the last step I am only able to
choose to create Topics OR Subtopics, depending which one I select as
the creation tool in the mapping file. Also, since it may be relevant,
each time I run the tutorial it toggles which one is defaulted i.e one
time its Creation Tools Topic, next time its Creation Tools Subtopic.
I've tried copying and pasting an additional Tool but that doesn't
appear to be an option.

For whichever one is not selected under Creation Tools, I can
only place them inside the other ones, which just produces a line
connecting the good one to itself.

Any help'd be appreciated
Thanks
