Hi,

I have installed VEP 1.0 on Eclipse v3.0 Oficial release, but the visual
design doesn´t work.

I followed the installations instructions (copy to eclipse "features"
and "plugins" folders), and it appears on Help / About / Feature
details. I create a "File / New / Other / Visual Class", and select
"Superclass as java.lang.Object", as says on the
" http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/indextools.cgi/%7Echeckout%7E /vep-home/WebContent/docs/newAndNoteworthy/1.0.0-M1/previewi ngSWT.html"
and the "SWT group" appears as expected. But when I try to put a
"Shell", or any other widget, it only appears an icon like beans, and
the widget name below.

Any idea about this problem?

Did I downloaded the right packages?

I donloaded:

VE-runtime-S20040628 (VE-runtime-S20040628.zip)
GEF-runtime-3.0 (GEF-runtime-3.0.zip)
emf-sdo-runtime-2.0.0 (emf-sdo-runtime-2.0.0.zip)

Some ideas?

Thanks in advance

Alessandro

Using the tip that Jeff Myers told me on post above the SWT visual
design seems to work fine.

He told me to delete the "configuration" folder and restart Eclipse.

I guess that it should be documented somehow.

Thanks for the help.
