Hi everyone,

I've developed a small test program with rap M6. Now I tried to create
two different workbenchs in one web application. Is it possible?

Thanks.

Hi Wen,

no - that's not a good idea ;)

Ok to be fair. We thought about that a while ago and didn't want to open
up not really tested API. Thus you can use the official way like
ActionFactory.OPEN_NEW_WINDOW.

If you take a look at the original implementation
(OpenInNewWindowAction) you should be able to do the same with some
internal API. But as I mentioned, that's internal and nobody of us has
tried this out yet.

Hi,

to clearify thinks a little bit. It is not possible to open multiple
workbenchs in one session, since the workbench implementation in RAP is a
session singleton. In theory it should be possible to open multiple
workbench windows in one session. But that's something we didn't tested
yet...

Ciao

Hi rappers,

many Thanks for your replies. We try to keep using rap for our project.
If we change something inside, we should have problems by the next
release update. Now it is very difficult for us to decide, if we use
workbench or not. Anyway I would have a try with your advises.

Have a nice weekend :-)

Cheers
Wen
