I don't see a version of CDT that says 'use with Eclipse Version M1' or '2.1
streams' on the download page. Does this exist or should the 2.0.1 version
of CDT be expected to work with newer Eclipse versions without modification?

As you noticed, we are currently building and testing against the 2.0.1
build of Eclipse.

We are currently working on automating our build process and do not want to
add additional instability.
Many of our developers are developing with the 2.1 or M1 versions of
Eclipse, so the CDT build tagged for 2.01 *should* work fine with the M1
Eclipse build.

We will be moving our builds to the stable 2.1 version of Eclipse soon.

We have recently run into some compatibility issues regarding running the
CDT code with M1 and newer versions of Eclipse.

Please refer to the "'use with Eclipse Version #" indicated on the downloads
page.

If you are interested in the details please look at the eclipse.tools.cdt
newsgroup thread titled:"Source C editor behaviour"

Thanks
