This is just a proof of concept -- the shapes are ugly and it isn't
really optimized..but really good performance still.

In this example, as you can see there are ony two faces being drawn for
each cube, not the whole cube. I'm just using SolidCube here, and
setting a color. Do I need to be specifiying a texture as well?

there, but it looks quite well.

No, this is a GEF3D bug, actually I knew about that bug but then I did
forget it. I added a bug report:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=278651
and fixed it (at least I hope so, otherwise change the bug report ;-)
). You would like to update org.eclipse.draw3d.shapes.SolidCube (rev.
146).
