As some of you may know, Microsoft is phasing out support for C++ and MFC
in its VisualStudio.Net, trying to push everyone into C# (or is that
D-flat?).
This creates an opportunity for another IDE to step in and fill the void.
A universal IDE, as eclipse aspires to be, would be a fine candidate for
that role. Is/will there be any effort to either edit MFC projects or
convert them to a "universal" C++ project?

Also, being new to eclipse, this is probably a dumb question, but: is
there a universal dialog specification language in the offing with an
associated signature? This would allow dialogs to be prototyped in, say,
Java and then be handed over to C++ for final development.
