Hi,

I hope this is the place to request a new feature for Eclipse PDT. First
I would like to mention that I am VERY pleased with PDT. Still there
there is a thing concerning the search & replace function that could be
improved:

The pop-up search box could automically move aside when a search result
has been found so the appearance can be seen and edited at once.

I have worked with this moving boxes in other IDEs and I liked it very
much. What do you think?

Braini,

I would like that feature too. I think it is probably provided by some
other component in eclipse because it is working the same in the java,
aptana perspectives. Also it would be nice if pressing the hot key
(Alt-F) would put the focus back to the search input box.

Is there a forum or another place where featue requests for can be
proposed/ stored/ collected?

Is a forum for pdt existing at all?

You can raise an enhancement on bugzilla for the PDT component. This is
the standard eclipse process for requesting features.
