There are now several servers compatible with Jakarta EE 9 (9.0 or 9.1) and the eclipse foundation is quite busy promoting Jakarta EE 9.
Is there some support planned for Jakarta EE 9 (EAR 9, EJB 4.0, JPA 3.0, CDI 3.0, JSTL 2.0, etc.)?
And then when could we expect some preview?

I tried after updating to WTP 3.23M1, but no joy: it still lacks proper support for Jakarta EE 9 (EAR 9, EJB 4.0, JPA 3.0, CDI 3.0, JSTL 2.0, etc.).

Here what have for an EJB project (EJB 4.0, JPA 3.0) :
Quote:

Implementation of version 3.0 of project facet jpt.jpa could not be found. Functionality will be limited.
Implementation of version 4.0 of project facet jst.ejb could not be found. Functionality will be limited.
The persistence.xml file does not have recognized content.

What I'm doing for now, is switching to jakarta packages but sticking with the Java EE 8/Jakarta EE 8 xml descriptors and corresponding eclipse facets.
The Jakarta EE 9 specifications allow it and in Eclipse IDE 2021-06, if everything is not perfect, it sort of works.

However, full support of Jakarta EE 9 would be welcome.
