Hi.
I'm using a fresh eclipse-jee-2020-09-R-win32-x86_64 without any additional plugins.

In JSON editor I need to disable Automatically Close "Strings", but no matter what I try it always closes Strings while typing.

There's no "Typing" page in preferences under JSON/JSON Files/Editor.

JSON files can also be opened with "Generic Editor" and it suffers from the same problem. Does "Generic Editor" even have preferences?

Mark how is Visual Studio Code relevant here? There's no settings.json in the workspace folder.
