Build variable for directory of "selected resource"? [message #336972] Fri, 17 July 2009 07:50

Is there a build variable containing the directory component of the
current file, i.e. the "selected resource" in Eclipse terminology? What
I'm looking for is $selected_resource_loc with the actual filename
component stripped off, or with $selected_resource_name "subtracted", if
you like - but I can't seem to find anything. Or actually, I believe I did
find it in an older release, where it was called $container_loc or
something, but this appears to be gone in Galileo.

So, is there such a variable, and what is it called? Alternatively, is
there some sort of special expansion syntax that will give me what I want,
based on what I already have? I can't find proper documentation on
variable expansion either...

I want this in conjunction with build configurations in CDT, by the way,
but as I understand it, the variables aren't CDT specific.
