Question on Eclipse Network Manager [message #336025] Thu, 14 May 2009 06:45 Go to next message

Hello!

I used the Eclipse Network Manager (org.eclipse.core.net/org.eclipse.ui.net
plugins) in a custom RCP app.
It seems to work fine with "normal" proxy servers but when it comes to our
MS ISA 2006 Server (NTLM)
it fails.

The Server always responds with a 407 error, although all proxy system
properties were set correctly.

Is NTLM supporten by Java 6 ?
How does network manager initialize proxy settings?

I'd be glad if someone could help me on this issue.

Best regards,

Fabian

There is an issue when using NTLM authentication with core.net proxy API,
see bug 262831 for details.
