Hello,

I have created an update-site but I am not in charge of the webserver.
So I am only able to upload the site is on a webserver working with
https with a Certificate from

OU = T-TeleSec Trust Center
O = Deutsche Telekom AG

and a htaccess protection.

I can access the site with the browser by filling in my username and
password. If I add the side to the newest eclipse version(s) under
Linux, everything is fine and eclipse ask for user and password.

But under XP the same scenario leads to an error. eclipse then says:

No repository found at
https://...

Error reading update site
https://...
Unconnected sockets not implemented

Is there any requirement I forgot?

Thx in advance
Joerg

You are seeing this bug:

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=255397

You can either downgrade your JDK to <6u10 or upgrade to an Eclipse 3.5
milestone.

Cheers
Ben
