- How to switch off automatic perspective switching? [message #335760] Tue, 28 April 2009 06:49 Go to next message

Some views optionally switch to a specific perspective, when they are opened. There is this feature that the first time around they ask, whether they should open the corresponding perspective and whether to memorize that decision and always switch to it in the future.

In one such case I answered "yes" and checked the "always" box but meanwhile I regret that decision since I find this particular perspective switching rather annoying. How/where can one undo that decision?

I guess that's buried deeply in some help file but I was unable to find an answer to that question.

One of the options (opening associated perspective) is contained in
Preferences>General>Perspectives.

Other than that, if the contributor gives the option to change that it
would be in a preference page for that functionality.
