Hello,

where can I find a hint indicating a file as of local history (in Eclipse
3.4.2), when I've opened a file of the local history, to avoid confusion
with the current working file in use?

The only indication is the Read-Only state in the status bar. You might
want to file an enhancement request to improve this.
