Hi, please log a report with SWT (
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/enter_bug.cgi?product=Platform &component=SWT )
with this information. I don't know that this is actually an SWT bug, but
perhaps it can be handled better. Remoting from an 8-bit display to a
(presumably) 24-bit display is an unusual case though, it's more typical to
go in the other direction.
