I have a plugin for editing certain files. The plugin hooks the global undo and
redo commands, and has a couple of its own key bindings. Mostly, things work as
expected.
However, when I double click a file in a project, the file opens, but key
bindings don't work. I can edit the file, then press Ctrl+Z to undo, and focus
changes to the View that had focus before my editor, and the undo doesn't
happen. Same thing with my own key bindings; focus switches to the previous view.
But, if I click on another editor tab, then back to my newly-opened tab, the
keys are routed properly.
Also, if I leave my document open, close & restart Eclipse, the keys are routed
properly.
Any suggestions?
I'm running Eclipse 3.4.1 on Ubuntu 8.10.
Thanks,
Bill Evans
